What is SoftPOS?+-
SoftPOS is a technology that enables an NFC-capable smartphone to function like a traditional card terminal. It allows you to accept card payments without separate hardware.
Do I need a separate terminal?+-
No. One of Fizgo's biggest advantages is that you do not need a separate card terminal. An NFC-capable smartphone is enough to accept payments.
What costs should I expect?+-
When using Fizgo, you should account for the following costs:
- Fizgo monthly fee (you can find prices in the Pricing section)
- Transaction fee charged by the payment provider (for example SimplePay) (~0.99%)
- Optional receipt printer: 8,990 HUF / unit
- If invoicing is used, API fees from your chosen provider (for example Billingo or Számlázz.hu), depending on invoice volume
Important: transaction fees and API costs are not billed by Fizgo.
How quickly can I start using it?+-
Fizgo can be operational within 1 business day.
If you also order a receipt printer, it usually arrives within 3-5 business days.
How does mobile payment work?+-
The merchant starts payment in the app, and the customer taps their bank card or digital wallet (for example Apple Pay or Google Pay) on the phone.
After successful processing, the receipt is generated automatically (digital or printed, based on customer and merchant preference).
How does the customer receive a receipt or invoice?+-
Fizgo automatically issues a receipt after every payment:
- Digitally (sent by email)
- On paper (with optional printer)
- For invoices, through integrated invoicing systems
All receipts and documents are also searchable in the app.
Which phones are supported?+-
Fizgo primarily works on NFC-capable Android and iOS devices.
Exact compatibility depends on the specific device and payment-provider configuration.
Which invoicing systems are compatible?+-
Fizgo currently integrates with the two most popular Hungarian invoicing systems:

This enables automatic invoice generation directly from the app.
What happens if I exceed the maximum transaction count in my package?+-
If you exceed the package transaction limit, an additional 15 HUF / transaction fee is applied to further transactions.
Is Fizgo secure to use?+-
Yes, using Fizgo is fully secure.
- The app does not store card data
- Payments run through banking infrastructure (for example SimplePay, SumUp)
- Data handling follows modern security requirements
SoftPOS systems also use security solutions approved by card networks (for example Visa and Mastercard).
